According to the experts (and the students who went there), these are the 5 best schools for biology in the United States:

#1. HARVARD UNIVERSITY

This place is ranked #1 across the board for its high-quality biology programs. It also has the biggest endowment of any college in the country, so you know its coursework is fascinating. #2. STANDFORD UNIVERSITY

Here, you only have a 4% chance of getting in but you’ve got a 94% chance of graduating with a respected degree in biology. They have a world-renowned undergrad program and tons of activities to help freshmen integrate too. Plus, their campus is gorgeous, especially in the fall when the leaves begin to change.

#3. MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT)

This is one of the best biology colleges because it keeps its finger on the pulse of technology. Students immerse themselves in groundbreaking lab methods while also experiencing hands-on training in various settings. They’ve got a 95% graduation rate but you must have at least 1500 on your SAT to get in.

#4. YALE UNIVERSITY

A friendly atmosphere and many student-focused extracurricular programs are what makes Yale stand out. Additionally, the tuition is less expensive and the acceptance rate is a little higher than most Ivy League schools. You only need 1460 on the SAT to get accepted, then you have a 97% chance of graduating in four years if you do.

#5. DUKE UNIVERSITY

Duke boasts an extremely social campus with flexible scheduling for majors and minors. They also have a passionately hands-on staff. Theirs is one of the largest acceptance rates on this list and students who go there for biology graduate with a degree 95% of the time.
